The Landlords Collective was founded in the Bay of Plenty in 2020. As landlords ourselves, we wanted to offer the quality of service we thought was missing in the property market. As a result we offer an unmatched customer experience for both landlords and tenants.

Well established locally, we have a clear ambition to expand our service offering throughout the rest of the country. We strive to cement a reputation for delivering property services of the highest standard in both the residential and commercial sectors.

    Jake’s a Registered Valuer with a Bachelor of Commerce; Majoring in Valuation & Property Management. He’s driven to improve the value position and lease security of our commercial assets under management. With over 12 years of industry experience, he’s leading our expansion into commercial advisory services.

    Prior to The Landlords Collective, Shane was a Business Development Manager and Team Leader for another reputable property management company for a number of years. He’s a Bay of Plenty local and knows our market like the back of his hand.

    Marilinda, or 'MK' as she's affectionately known, has been working in residential property management for the past 8 years. She has an extensive knowledge of the local market and all technical aspects of the role.

    Having 30 years in the property industry, Grant offers a wealth of knowledge and experience. A notable part of his career was spent managing the property assets for Briscoes and Rebel Sport around the country. A natural people person, strong communicator and with an eye for pre-empting facilities and maintenance request; he’s a great asset to the team.

  • Property Manager & Accounts Administrator
    Ashleigh is our lead financial accounts administrator. She has spent the better part of 13 years working with a local accounting practice and towards the end of that career set up her own management company which merged with The Landlords Collective in 2023. Her experience extends across both residential and commercial property and being born and bred in Tauranga, she has a large network to call on.

Our Cause

We support hundreds of everyday people by managing their tenancies to provide safe, warm, and comfortable housing. We felt it was important to extend that same support through our chosen charity.
